{"id":423,"date":"2017-01-31T12:36:20","date_gmt":"2017-01-31T20:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/busix.com\/docs\/?p=423"},"modified":"2023-08-24T07:09:31","modified_gmt":"2023-08-24T15:09:31","slug":"reconnecting-to-network-drives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/busix.com\/docs\/reconnecting-to-network-drives\/","title":{"rendered":"Reconnecting to Network Drives"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To connect to a mapped network drive, most of the time your computer will automatically do all the work once you&#8217;re connected to the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not always the case.&nbsp; If you get errors with not being able to connect, there is a very easy fix to get your network drive working again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Bring up an Explorer window by either left-clicking on the <strong>file folder icon<\/strong>, or pressing Windows + E.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"215\" height=\"91\" src=\"https:\/\/busix.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-19.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2982\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Open an Explorer Window<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. You can <strong>click on &#8220;This PC&#8221; and then the drive you want to connect to<\/strong>.&nbsp; In this case, clicking on &#8220;This PC&#8221; to get to the drive remapped the drive without further action.&nbsp; You can also double-click the drive to reconnect or enter credentials.
